The awesome folks at Sago Mini have done it yet again! They recently released a new kid’s app called, Puppy Preschool, that is just as cute and fun as everything they create and my kids love it and I’m a bit excited about it, too. If you know me, you know I’m a dog person all-of-the-way and so to see all of these cutie patootie dog characters in one app was just the sweetest thing! Talk about cuteness overload! Ha! This app was just perfect for Luke (he’s my 3-year-old) and he loved every single thing about it. Let me walk you through it a bit.
The app has four different educational games that your child can play. One is a musical game where your child can create his or her own music by tapping different instruments or silly objects like a whoopie cuhion. I love how colorful and cute this is and the puppies are not only adorable, but Sago Mini has lined them up from biggest to smallest, so it’s yet one more way your child can learn.
The next game is a color sorting game. Kids have to sort the dogs’ food into their same colored dish. Once they do that, they can see their adorable puppies chow down on their food. The sound effects are super cute and so are their little facial expressions.
The third game is a shape matching game, which is fun! Your child simply drags the object into it’s matched shape outline and then watches the puppy jump up and catch it like they’re playing fetch. It’s absolutely adorable, friends. Luke loved the puppy’s little giggles.
The last little game that your child can play is a counting game where they give the puppies a bath. One-by-one they drag and drop the puppies into the bathtub. Every time they do that, they count from 1-10. The child also can use the water hose to rinse the puppies off and can count backwards by removing the puppies one-by-one from the tub.
Sago Mini is one of the very few kids app companies that I allow my kids to play. Not only do I love the fact that there are NO in-app purchases, but my kids can play it anywhere and it’s safe, incredibly adorable and fun – not to mention educational, too. Hands down Sago Mini is our most favorite! I even get a kick out of playing them!
One thing I will mention is that there is a bit of burping and tooting in the app, but it’s done very tastefully and if your kids are like mine, it’ll just provide some more giggles for them. Seems like when the puppies just sit still and your child isn’t playing it – it’ll do that. I guess it’s just a silly reminder to keep on playing. ;) Luke thought it was hilarious and said, “Excuse you!” Ha! What do you know – it’s a great refresher about manners, too. ;)
When I asked Luke what he thought about Puppy Preschool he said, “I LOVED IT!” His favorite thing was, “making the music with the puppies.” Yep, that was totally his favorite part because he’d spend a lot of time on that game. ;)
So if you haven’t checked out Sago Mini apps yet – you NEED to. If you have, but don’t have this app yet – you NEED to get it, especially if you have toddlers in your home. They will love it! Sago Mini also makes some super cute books and toys as well! We have almost everything they’ve put out so far and love it all. Great quality, super fun and cute and the kids love them! I’ll end it with this quote that I read by one of the toy designers at Sago Mini that describes every single app, book and toy that they make:
Shouldn’t that be the goal with every kid app and toy? With Sago Mini, it is.
Well done, Sago Mini. Well done.
Disclosure: Sago Mini gave me and my kids this app for free to try out, but all opinions expressed in this blog post are solely my own. My kids and I love this app and Sago Mini and have been customers for a long, long time.
