New gallery is up at AMLT!

Hi everyone!
The June gallery is up at A Million Little Things. You can see it by clicking HERE.
The assignments this month were:

• Scrap a layout with your LEAST favorite color!
• Scrap a Current Event or Something in “real life” going on around you and how it effects you or your family.

Here’s what I created:

I scrapped with brown because really I never hardly use brown on my scrapbook pages. I’m more of a happy/bright colored person. :) I did have to add bright, happy colors to it though so I knew scrapping about my daughter’s first rainbow would be perfect!

This layout was for the real life assignment.

I was trying to figure out what to scrap about when my daughter basically put the idea right in front of me. You see, she is obsessed with all things cars ever since seeing the movie “Cars” a couple years ago or so. She has A LOT of cars and well – they are usually everywhere and it honestly drives me nuts. LOL. So – I snapped a picture of something that I see a lot – my scrapbook desk covered with cars (she likes to play right there) and then created a layout around that. It was perfect. :)
