Hi sweet blog friends.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a bit, you’ll remember the story of Kate McRae.
The sweet little 5-year-old girl who recently found out she has cancer. You can scroll down in my blog and see the July 4th entry and video of her parents talking about their sweet daughter. Just look at that mother’s eyes. The pain you can see is so heartbreaking to me.
I wanted to share a video that Kate’s Daddy made of “A day in the life of Kate.”
You can see it here:
You can also donate HERE and buy a bracelet to help the family with medical expenses. I am about to go and purchase one myself. It’s a good reminder to all of us that life can change in an instant and to be thankful for those we love every day.
You can stay updated with Kate’s journey HERE.
I hope you will join me in praying for Kate and her family. It breaks my heart to see this little girl and her family go through this and to know there are so many other children and families living through the same nightmare.
I am also thinking about doing a card drive for Kate and her family. Something to lift their spirits and brighten their days at the hospital. If you would like to join me, please check back soon and I’ll post some details. Right now I’m thinking some cards with words or encouragement, etc., would really help this family during this time.
May God bless Kate and her family and may He perform a miracle and allow Kate to be a shining example of His love, goodness and all that only He can do.
Time to go and hug and kiss my sweet baby bird.
