Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday to you!
I’m back with a couple of birthday cards. These are actually hybrid cards because I used a digital kit, printed out some cute embellishments and paper from it and then just treated it like traditional scrapbook products and created a couple of cards! Easy! I used Lesley’s Party Time kit again (found HERE). Love the whimsical look of her art work! So happy and fun! Well, I hope you enjoy these! I’m sending these to my Mama for her birthday later in the week! I don’t think she checks out my blog so I’m safe. :-D
Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed day! Hugs!

August 18, 2009 at 5:29 pmI've resisted doing digital printouts because of the cost of the ink. (I use an Epson R1900). What are your feelings/experience on that?

August 18, 2009 at 5:52 pmHi Monika!
I totally understand about the ink. I have a Canon that is pretty good when it comes to ink. I definitely wouldn't print out A LOT of digital elements all of the time, but here and there I think would be just fine. What I like to do is just print out a page of different elements from different kits and that way I don't have to print out a lot over a period of time and can just cut or punch something out and use it. I'm not sure how much more ink it uses to print out a digital image instead of a photo, but I don't think it's that much more. Maybe you could save the files onto a CD and then have a place like Office Depot or Kinko's print it out for you? Not sure what they charge, but it might be more economical. I am just doing it here and there and in small sizes for cards and small embellishments to layouts. :-D
