I ♥ Brett Favre

Ok, so yes this blog is mainly for scrapbooking and crafty stuff, but I just had to take a moment to congratulate my favorite football player – Brett Favre.

I grew up a Packer fan. My parents are major Packer fans. I know Brett has been indecisive in the past, but still the way he was treated in Green Bay left a sour taste in my mouth. Sure the folks in Green Bay say the media had it all wrong, but one thing is for sure – they let Brett go. I know it’s business and they were sick of him retiring and then coming back, but this is Brett Favre we’re talking about. He was with them for 16 years and did so much for the team and Green Bay. I think he deserves to waffle a bit here and there, especially over a very hard decision, I’m sure.

Honestly, I can’t really cheer for the Pack anymore. I will always remember the great times I had in front of the TV watching them with my family and I’ll always love Donald Driver (another one of my favorites), but when Favre left – so did I and I am just so happy that last night he showed the Packers organization that he still had it. Yep, he does and I’m proud of him and happy for him and yes, I will be getting my Favre Vikings jersey in the very near future.

Congratulations, Brett! No matter what team you play for, I’ll be watching you and cheering for you. Oh, and I totally think you’re a hottie. Hee hee! :-D
