Yep, it’s Monday and unfortunately I have some sad news.
The little boy, Eric, that we were also collecting cards for passed away peacefully yesterday. Please pray for his family as they endure this very difficult time. To all those who have made cards for Eric, his family will be blessed to receive them and I know they will feel your love and prayers.
As for the card drive as a whole – I am happy to say that we’ve received over 1600 cards now. Wow. Such a cool thing. Kate’s Mom Holly even mentioned the Cards for Kate and her journal today. You can read it HERE. There is one more week to get your cards in for the card drive. Thank you to all who have already taken the time to make a card or cards.
I had an allergic reaction to something over the weekend so I’ve been extremely itchy since yesterday. Not a lot of fun, but it’s bearable. Just taking some Benadryl and applying anti-itch cream here and there. Not the best way to start out the week, but I’ve decided that no matter what I am going to

Please continue to pray for Kate and her family and also, like I said above, Eric’s family. I just can’t imagine they pain they are going through. Take the time today to hug your loved ones and tell them that you love them. I’ll be back soon. Hugs.
