Yep, that’s going to be my word for this year. I think it would do me well to be better at embracing things whether it be my treadmill (that I finally got back on today after a 2 month hiatus), my sewing machine (which I really hoping to make 2010 the year of my sewing machine, too!) or just embracing the little things that make my life my life. :-D What’s your word for 2010? I’d love for you to share it with me. Speaking of the New Year, how’s yours going so far? I hope it’s going great! All is going well here! Making some changes in the New Year and loving it! So excited and ready for what lies ahead. I wouldn’t say that I make resolutions every year, but I do love to just make goals that I’d like to accomplish. I’m ok at keeping them, but hoping to be better. ;) Speaking of resoutions, I found these cute resolution labels and thought I’d share them:
You can find them HERE. I love the blog that they are from, Up, Up the Blog. Such a cool blog and I love THIS website she posted that helps come up with New Year’s resolutions for you. I decided to click on “gimme more” 2 times (2 is my favorite number, LOL) to see what it told me and these are what I got:
- Enjoy Every Minute
- Give a Hug Every Day
I can definitely do those. ;) I hope your New Year is off to a wonderful start! Thanks for stopping by! Off to embrace the laundry! ;)

January 4, 2010 at 9:26 pmMy word is perseverance. Lots of good but occassionally hard stuff to do this year. :) My MIL pointed out that the last chunk of that word is "severance" and how I spent the last half of 2009 working on severing myself from people/things that brought unnecessary stress or frustration. I thought that was an excellent observation. :)

January 5, 2010 at 2:59 amI want this to be the year of the sewing machine too! I just got one for Christmas and I've already used it on like four layouts :) So addicting!

January 6, 2010 at 2:24 pmMy word for this year is simplify. I feel like we have so much "stuff", not just material things, but errands, commitments, places to go/be. I want to scale back and start enjoying the simple joys of just living. Know what I mean?
