Hi there!
I hope all of my American friends are having a wonderful Memorial Day! I pray that everyone remembers what this day is really about – remembering the servicemen and women who served our country past and present. I’m an Army brat so this day is always a day that I take a minute to pray for those who have and are serving our country. I know the sacrifices that military families make and I am thankful, appreciative and grateful to them all.
I also wanted to share a bit of exciting news with you all. On Friday we found out …
we’re having a BOY! :-D We are very excited! This will be the first boy in my family and everyone is pretty excited. I don’t know a thing about boys, so if you have any helpful advice, do share! ;) We do have a name picked out, but that’s a secret! ;) I feel so blessed to be a Mama to a girl AND a boy! We can’t wait! I’m due in late October.
I also wanted to share this layout that I did for the AMLT blog last week. I had an inspiration challenge and used this cute shirt as my inspiration piece:
I actually LOVE getting inspiration from clothing, especially my daughter’s clothes so this was an easy way to kick start some creative mojo. This is the layout that I created that was inspired by that shirt:
I really need to get going and caught up on lots of pages for my daughter’s album because pretty soon I’ll have TWO to scrap for and lots of baby pictures to take! I hope you have a wonderful week! I will be back soon with more goodies! Hugs!

June 5, 2010 at 3:19 amCongratulations. I have 3 boys Those boys are going to keep me young forever, since there isn't a day that goes by that they don't make me laugh or at least put a smile on my face. If laughter makes you live longer, I will live a loooonnnnnggggg time.
