October 2, 2010 at 12:50 pmTruly generous for you gals giving so much of your time to this card drive. As I made the cards with my son, he keeps asking me if the kids are all better now. So when I say not yet, he asks me if they are not taking their medicine properly. In his mind medicine can cure all illness and everyone gets better after a while…if only. Thanks for picking me as a winner.

October 2, 2010 at 4:26 pmOh my goodness, I thought I was too late with my cards for this round! Thank you SO much!
And thank you for all your hard work continuing to help organize this drive!
It's SO amazing that over 1500 cards were sent in! Visiting other blogs today (WCMD!) there were some that asked us to decribe why we love making cards. I really think it's like sending a hug by mail, and it makes me so happy to think about SO MANY hugs being sent to those sweet kids!
