is FIVE today. Sigh.
My how the time flies by. God could not have blessed me with a sweeter, kinder, more beautiful daughter and I am SO thankful for her. She is my little sidekick – always making me smile and laugh and yes, always being so stinkin’ stubborn, but she comes by it honest. :-D
I can’t believe it has been 5 years since I held her in my arms for the first time.
In honor of her 5th birthday I thought I’d list 5 things that I love about her. I could go on and on and on about things I love about my sweet girl, but I’ll list just 5 that come to the top of my head…

Your laugh. You have the sweetest most joyful laugh I know and it’s music to my ears every time that I hear it. |

Your silly dances. If you know that I’m having a bad day or just not in a good mood, you are always there to make me laugh and lift my spirits. You do the silliest dances and they make me smile so big. You are such a bright light in my life. |

What a great big sister you are. You have been so wonderful since Jack has been born. You are always helpful, so loving and caring and always making sure he’s doing great. I wondered how you might take to not being the center of attention anymore, but you have impressed me and made me so proud. You don’t think of yourself – you are selfless and such a good big sister. Jack is SO lucky to have you. |
|
|
Your hugs. You give out countless hugs to us every day and you always make a point to say that you love us. You have a heart of gold and a love for God, too. It warms my heart when you say out of the blue, “Mommy, you are my heart” or “I love God, Mommy.” Sigh. You make me so proud to be your Mama. |

I love how you love to be crafty. It’s so fun having a little sidekick with me crafting away and being creative. You make the hobbies that I love so much more wonderful just by being with me. I look forward to the many years ahead that we have together, creating sweet things, laughing, smiling and being together. I’ve got a best little friend for life and I’m so thankful to God for you. |
