Have you picked your “one little word” for 2011?
If you don’t know what I’m talking about – you can check out Ali Edward’s blog HERE andread up on just what “one little word” is all about. I’ve been choosing “one little word” for a few years now. Last year my word was “embrace.” This year my word is:
I normally have a few words that are running through my mind at the end of the year that I am trying to decide on for my “one little word” for the next year. This year “goodness” just felt right and so I went with it. I love how one of the definitions of “goodness” is “the best part of anything.” That stood out to me. So in the coming year I want to find and seek the “goodness” in everything, whether it be people, my surroundings, my everyday moments, my hardships, my disappointments, the time with my children and husband, just to always be aware and SEE the goodness that is there. There IS goodness in everything. We may not see it at first, but it always shows itself to us in the end. I believe that. 100%.

Speaking of the New Year AND Ali – I have decided to jump back on the photo-a-day bandwagon again and I just love the new calendar template that Ali has out. I purchased it a few days ago and I can’t wait to start adding photos to it every day.

Also, in regards to the New Year starting in just a couple of days … I have been working for a few weeks now on a new blog site for the two happy mamas blog design business. I decided it was time to give it a fresh, cute, updated look along with an updated name, logo, designs, details, info, etc. It’s all ready to go and will go live on the 1st! My word for 2011 is serve. Learning how to better serve God, my family, and beyond instead of so much me, me, me. I'm thinking 2011 is going to be pretty great. : ) Happy New Year!
