I hope you all are having a great week! What a scary weather day yesterday was! Oh my goodness! I am thinking of and praying for all of those people who were affected by the severe weather that happened yesterday. My family lives in North Alabama and they are without power and might be few a few days. They are ok, but a lot of other people are less fortunate, so please pray for everyone who have been affected by the storms. So scary!

I’ve been hard at work organizing the fundraiser for the “Walk for a Cure” that benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of my daughter. I am hoping to launch it on Monday, May 2nd. I am STILL looking for donations for prizes so if you have an Etsy store or work somewhere that would love to donate and become a sponsor – email me!
We also have an iPad2 fund set up and we’re only just $250 away from having enough to purchase one to raffle off for the fundraiser! If you’d like to donate toward that – shoot me an email! For every $10 you donate – you get a chance to win that same iPad2! Not too shabby of a return if you donate $10 and then win it! :-D Plus, having the iPad2 raffle will bring in LOTS more donations for the fundraiser which in turn will help the JDRF SO much!
