Happy Tuesday sweet friends!
I hope your week is going well. I’ve just got some randomness to post about today, so bear with me. :)
- First of all, if you haven’t read sweet Becky Higgin’s blog post HERE then you must read it and share it with all of the women you know. It rings so true and is a great reminder to us all. I just love Becky. It’s easy to compare ourselves to others, isn’t it? I’m guilty of that myself. I love the last couple of sentences in her blog post:
“Take one weakness and work on it this week. Don’t complain about it. Don’t dwell on it. Just take action to MAKE A CHANGE. Today.”
- Saturday we had a bridal shower for my little sister, Kate. She’s getting married at the end of next month. So excited for her and this next phase of her life. We had so much fun planning her shower and throwing it. It was a great time! Love the photo that my husband snapped of me, Caylin, my three sisters, niece and Mom.
- The Caylin’s Cure fundraiser came to an end and I am feeling SO thankful and blessed for all of your donations and prayers. I just got the final donation report today regarding it and am getting all of the names entered and the final tally added up and am hoping to get all of that done in the next couple of days. We will be drawing the names for prizes THIS week and I will post those winners as soon as we do! Good luck to everyone! Thank you again to all of you for your generosity and kindness. What an awesome thing! We raised over $4000 in about 6 months!
- I’ve got a great giveaway coming up on Friday so if you have kids who love Veggies Tales – you’ll want to check back! Trust me! Speaking of giveaways … I’ve got some more lined up as well! Yay! LOVE giveaways! :)
- Sweet Jack is cutting his two front teeth, bless his heart. They sure are cute though when he smiles and you can see them poking through. His first birthday is LESS than ONE MONTH AWAY. Whoa has this year flown by. I’m in the middle of planning his Cookie Monster party. Is this not cute?
Definitely creating some cups like this for his party. I ♥ Pinterest and all of the inspiration there. Sigh. ;) Working on the invites and also his first little “year in photos” movie that I do. I’ve made Caylin one every year and we watch it on her birthday. So excited to be able to make Jack his first video. ;)
- Caylin is loving school and our sweet homeschool group. We went to an apple orchard last week and it was a lot of fun. Feeling so blessed to be a part of it and to get to teach her.
- Looking forward to being among the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee soon. LOVE this time of year.
- I hope you have a blessed day. :)
