30 days of gratitude: Day 2

Day 2:

Today I am grateful for this sweet little girl. Today she is 6. :)The past six years have been the most blessed years of my life and she is a BIG reason for that.

• Her favorite color is still blue, although now she says she loves pink and purple, too.
• She has so many stuffed animals that the toy box her Papa made her is overflowing and you can barely close the lid anymore.
• She has more hot wheels than she knows what to do with.
• She loves to be creative and artistic and just yesterday hung up about 5 new pictures she had made on the side of the fridge. She doesn’t like a magnet without anything attached to it. ;)
• She is brave, kind-hearted, tender, giving and the sweetest girl I know.
• She is shy, yet very out-going (if that’s possible), loves her brother SO much and is very protective of him.
• She is stubborn, sassy at times and loves for me to sing the same three lullabies to her every night before she goes to sleep  (one I made up, skitamerinkidinkidink and Jesus loves me).
• Her eyes light up when she sees a balloon.
• She giggles uncontrollably when she hears the word “poop.”
• She makes her brother laugh the loudest and she has the best dance moves, seriously!
• She was my sweet little baby bird on that day and she will always be my sweet little baby bird no matter how big she gets.

There’s too much to be grateful for when it comes to what she has given to me. Simply put … I’m just grateful to be her Mama.
