Well, Henry’s time with us has come to an end. I didn’t want to leave you all hanging so here are the final two spots where we found Henry. ;)
[December 23rd]
Henry perched himself up above the clock near the kitchen. I think he was trying to tell us that his time with us was coming to an end. ;)
[December 24th]
It took a bit for Caylin to spot Henry, but she finally found him under our Christmas tree with a letter for her and Jack. Here is what the letter said:
Both Caylin and Jack loved Henry and the whole experience brought such a sweet tradition and activity to our family during the holidays. Caylin was a bit sad to see Henry go, but with all of the excitement of Santa Claus and Jesus’ birthday, she woke up bright and early Christmas morning and didn’t even think about Henry being gone. She did look up on the shelf where Henry would sit later that day and said, “I miss Henry.” But she is totally ok with him being back with Santa now. I can’t wait to print all of these sweet photos of Henry and make a little mini album. I’m going to print them out twice so that Caylin can make a little mini album, too. She’s excited. ;)
I hope you’ve enjoyed The Adventures of Henry the Elf. Thanks for coming along on this ride with me. I was new at all of this elf stuff and at times felt so uncreative where I stuck him, but what I realized was that Caylin didn’t care how creative I was, er I mean Henry was. She just loved how silly and sweet he was and it totally added such a cool and fun element to the holidays.
So thank you, sweet Henry. I’m going to miss you, too. See you next year. ;)
