Happy Week 9 of the Right Now Challenge! Check out my blog post HERE to read about the challenge and why I started it.
Here are the “right now” memories I jotted down this week:
- While I was emptying the dishwasher, Jack grabbed a butter knife and then proceeded to tell me that he was “sord fighting” with Mama. LOL! Yep, he’s a boy!
- Jack will NOT leave the Christmas tree alone. I thought last year was going to be the year when he would grab at the ornaments, etc. Boy was I wrong!
- When Jack tries to use a straw, he makes the “sucking” sound, but nothing comes up! It’s cute! He’s getting the hang of it though! ;)
- Caylin’s body clock is still on the time BEFORE we lost an hour during for the Fall Back. She’s up so early in the morning – ugh.
- On November 26th, Jack said he had to go to the potty and actually sat on the potty and did a #2 on it! We were shocked. The potty hasn’t seen any action since then, but hey – it’s a start! ;)
- I do this thing now that cracks Caylin and Jack up. I call it “exploding kisses.” I tell them I’m going to give them a kiss and then when I do then I blow on their cheek after and make this “exploding” sound. They giggle and love it! ;)
- I love listening to Caylin sing, “Hark the Herald Angel’s Sing.” She sings it so beautifully and makes me tear up every time.
- Every time we get in the car now Jack will say, “Go to Toys R Us?!” Seriously? He’s only been there like 2 times, but he’s smart and understands that’s where a bunch of toys are! LOL! He also will say, “Go to Target?” Now THAT I can understand since I’m there a lot. ;)
Happy Friday! I hope you are still taking the “Right Now” Challenge! Hugs!
