Happy Week 10 of the Right Now Challenge! Yippeeee! It’s so hard to believe it has already been TEN whole weeks of writing down these simple, every day moments throughout the week! Check out my blog post HERE to read about the challenge and why I started it.
Here are the “right now” memories I jotted down this week:
- I asked Jack what his name was and he simply stated back to me, “Jack Proppet.” TOO cute!
- Caylin called me into her room and there she was sitting on her bed with her Bible. She said, “Listen to this Mama.” Then she proceeded to read me John 3:16. I cried. We then continued to sit on her bed and read scripture together. Total highlight of my day. :)
- When Caylin, Jack and I play playdoh we always pretend we’re a bakery and taking orders for cakes, cookies, pies, etc. It’s so much fun. We played Playdoh for almost 2 hours today. (Dec. 4th)
- Jack had a bit too much fun with a black oil pastel crayon while I was upstairs for a minute and Caylin was in her room. Let’s just say that I’m so thankful that our walls were untouched. That’s about all that wasn’t. Sigh. (Dec. 5th)
I hope you have been enjoying these 10 weeks! I am going to keep on going with this challenge even into the new year! There’s no stopping me know. I think holding myself accountable has really helped and just going back and reading these “right now” memories that I’ve jotted down has made me realize that I was really missing and forgetting these little pieces of my life. I would love for you to join me this week or any week! There’s no pressure – just do it when you want to (but I think you’ll want to keep it up every week, too)!
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back with more soon! Hugs!
