Anyone who knows me knows that I am a bit on the germaphobe side. Ok, I’m A LOT on the germaphobe side. There I said it. I can’t help it. It was bad BEFORE I had kids and then it got worse AFTER I had kids and now that I have a diabetic daughter it is borderline crazy. But to my defense, common illnesses like a cold or stomach bug in most children will just keep them home for a bit, but if that child is diabetic, it can send them to the hospital. Did you know that? That freaks me out. Not gonna lie.
Now I don’t go TOO extreme and I know that not exposing my children to germs can be more harmful than good, but that doesn’t stop my germaphobe tendencies. :)
So, if you see me out and about lathering up in hand sanitizer and wiping down every surface with clorox wipes, now you know why. :)
Just a little FYI. :)

January 9, 2013 at 10:00 pmThank you for your honesty. It is very refreshing. I am a bit of a germaphobe myself. But I don’t have the issue of a diabetic daughter. I will be praying for you all. Hugs to you all. <3
