Hello friends! Monday is almost over with and I’m cutting it SUPER close with my List with Friends for today! Ha!
You want to know why? Because I have been in Spring cleaning mode ALL DAY. I went through my daughter’s room with a fine-toothed comb and it felt SO good! So, I thought what better list to make today than a list of things I want to do as I Spring clean my home in the next couple of weeks.
Clean/organize/de-clutter Caylin’s room- Clean/organize/de-clutter Jack’s room
- Clean/organize/de-clutter all closets
- Clean out and organize laundry room
- Go through craft cabinets and clean out it all
- Wipe down all baseboards
- Clean all windows
- Vacuum out couch and cushions
- Go through homeschool stuff and organize/clean out and get ready for new curriculum order
- Clean out and organize photos and folders on computer
- Wipe down and organize shoe cabinet by front door
- Go through kitchen cabinets and organize and clean them out
- Clean out pantry
- Clean out fridge and freezer
- Take a bunch to Goodwill and smile BIG
I THINK that’s it. I’ve got a good start today because Caylin’s room took A LOT of work. How do all of the little trinkets multiply like that? It’s crazy! She had stickers, scraps of paper, beads, glitter, Barbie shoes, marbles – you name it in EVERY nook and cranny it seemed. Yikes. Deep breath.
Anyway, one checked off of the list and many more to go, but I am looking forward to wiping out this list as I go along. ;) What do YOU do when you Spring clean? Hope it’s feeling like Spring where you are!

I took a room a weekend and washed walls, cleaned the ceiling fans, pulled out all the furniture and cleaned thoroughly behind them, cleaned the windows and blinds, vacuumed the upholstered furniture, dusted (especially the books), cleaned and sorted through closets and drawers. In the kitchen, I did the cabinets and put new shelf paper, cleaned the oven and other appliances inside and out. I also included the outside – trim limbs, mow yard, clean out shed and pressure wash the house. I’m not quite finished with the outside stuff, but it feels so nice to have a fresh, clean house.
