Elf on the Shelf 2014 Calendar

NEW-calendar-graphic

Happy Monday, friends!

I know that some people will cringe at this post and say to themselves, “Oh no, not THAT elf stuff again!” Ha! But I hope since it was really one of my most downloaded and one of the most viewed blog posts of mine last year that obviously it was helpful to a lot of you! So I’m happy to be sharing it for free again.

We’ve had our elf, Henry, for a few years now. You can see the Adventures of Henry the Elf HERE.  Last year I wanted to eliminate the stress I was feelingwhen trying to figure out just what to do with the elf every night and so I created the calendar with a new ideas every day to help keep the whole elf process moving along and creative and boy did it ever help! It was WONDERFUL and it was so nice not to have to think, “Where am I going to put that little sucker, er, I mean elf?!” Ha! I’m happy that it helped so many of you as well.

This year is a bit different for us when it comes to our elf because last year Caylin and Jack were told that I was the one hiding the elf. I could tell that Caylin was putting two-and-two together and Jack didn’t really care and so this year I’m still deciding what I’m going to do. They still want me to hide Henry so they can race to see who can find him, but it won’t be the same. I’m totally ok with that. I really want them to focus more on the real reason for the season and so this is just a little fun something that we’ll do and it will be even LESS stressful. I’m still going to need ideas and so this will help me again this year. :)

Henry normally comes the night of Thanksgiving and so that’s the day my calendar starts.

Each day you’ll find a little idea for what you can do with your Elf that night. You can do exactly what it says or you can just elaborate on it or switch it up to make it your own. It’s just a good starting point and even if you’ve already done that with your elf, I’m hoping there are a lot of other ideas that will help you. Remember you can go through all of the previous blog posts I’ve done about Henry’s adventures and I have a little Pinterest board of ideas here, too. Some are on the calendar, but some aren’t. I’ve just collected these for a bit!

This is what the calendar looks like!

To download your FREE copy of this calendar, click HERE. I also have a blank calendar that you can download if you’d rather fill in your own ideas. You can download it HERE.

My sweet friend, Rebecca of Simple As That, has a great post about some simple ideas for the Elf, too. You can check it out HERE!

I’d love for you to share this with friends and family! The more help that it can be – the less stress these little elves will cause! ;)

Well, I hope you have a great day, friends! XOXOX!

Make it a good one!

How wonderful! I’m getting the empty calendar version on both links, though, and I was hoping to print the pre-filled one! Let me know if I’m just missing something!

You are amazing. Thanks so much! We love our little elf, but I always wait until the last minute to move him and at that point I am just not that creative. Having a calendar is going to make elf things so much easier!
