Hi friends!
You know that feeling you have when you try something for the first time and it’s just SUPER amazing and you want to shout it from the rooftop so that everyone can know about it and try it, too? Well, that’s totally how I felt when my husband brought home a bag of HannahMax Baking cookies from Target a few months back. We are all BIG fans of cinnamon sugar in my family (I have a MAJOR sweet tooth) and so when he bought them and I saw the bag, I automatically thought they looked delicious, but was skeptical until that first bite.
After one bite, I confidently proclaimed that this single cookie was THE best cookie that I’ve ever eaten in my entire life and no, I’m not kidding. My kids looked at me like I was crazy, surely that could not be the case (they’ve tried plenty of cookies in their short life), but after THEY took a bite themselves, they agreed and well, we’ve been buying them (a lot) ever since. Sorry for everyone else around us who loves them too and tries to get them before we do. ;)
As a Mama, I am always looking for things for my kids to snack on that don’t contain a lot of bad ingredients like GMOs, trans fats, added hormones, high fructose corn syrup and just all that fake, bad for you stuff. Why is that SO hard to find that nowadays? The past few years I’ve really make a conscience effort to put better food into my body and my kids’ bellies and well, I was SO thankful to find a super yummy treat that I could give to my kids that was made from real ingredients and that didn’t have all of that added junk added in. When I realized that these cookies were not only delicious but they had no trans fats, no added hormones, no GMOs, no preservatives and no artificial flavors or colors – well that made me giddy! Oh, and their cookies are made with cage free eggs, cane sugar and hormone free butter. How’s that for amazing? Oh, and let’s not forget to mention that they’re only 120-130 calories a serving. Not too shabby at all!
I don’t know about you, but I’m so sick of seeing so many dyes and artificial this and that put into foods, especially food geared towards children. It’s so refreshing to see that HannahMax Baking doesn’t need to use those things to make a delicious cookie! The other super cool thing about HannahMax Baking company is the history of it. It was started 25 years ago by a Mama who was making cookies for her children (the company’s namesake). They loved them and she loved being able to give them a treat with high quality ingredients in it and the rest, as they say, is history. I love a good Mama turned entrepreneur story!
Right now HannahMax Baking have six different cookie flavors: Original, Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Sugar, Oatmeal Raisin, Sea Salted Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip. They are going to be releasing some new flavors soon! I’m just a tad bit excited about that. ;)
I mean, look at all of that cinnamon-sugary goodness.
As you can see, Caylin’s favorite is the Cinnamon Sugar.
Jack, on the other hand likes them all. He’s a bit excited to be sitting in the middle of them. ;)
I love to be able to give my kids a little snack that I can feel good about. It’s also a treat that I find myself eating, too and if I’m being honest, usually licking the bottom of the bowl that I pour some out into. The crumbs are super delicious, too! ;)
Being a Mama, I also love that these are an easy snack to take on the go. I can just pour a few in a baggie or little plastic bowl with a lid and I’m good to go. I really think that these are the tastiest treats that I’ve ever consumed. I would not be surprised if one of my kids asks to have cookie chips for their birthday instead of cupcakes or a cake! Ha! I would totally be ok with that, just for the record. ;)
Then there’s Luke. He is a BIG fan of the cookie chips, too. ;) They’re the perfect size for his little hands and he’ll say, “cookie, please” to get another one (or two).
Here he is, cookie crumbs and all. His favorite are the Chocolate Chip.
Yep, we love them and to quote Jack, “They’re so delicious and my favorite part is getting to lick my fingers afterwards.” Well-said, my son.
This is the scene when it’s all said and done:
I’m honestly a bit surprised there are crumbs left. ;)
So there you have it – I might not be able to get on my roof and shout it out, but TRUST me. You and your family needs to try these cookie chips. You can thank my later.

August 3, 2015 at 11:17 amThis is probably not the politically correct thing to do, but I was just reviewing your review of our Cookie Chips. So so so cute. Your kids are adorable. The pictures are beautiful. Thanks for such an awesome review. The best part of your review, is the kids thumbs up of the product. Nothing better than the kids honesty. They absolutely tell it as it is. Hannah & Max are the namesakes of my company, but there is one matching to your Luke. He is Ari & he is 2 1/2 yrs. And, like you, I am always concerned about what all my kids eat!!
All the best!
