This past Monday we started school (we homeschool) and so we’ve got a new 4th grader and Kindergartner in the house! We had a great day! I feel so blessed to be able to sit with my children, teach them and spend time with them. Sure, homeschooling can be challenging at times and I do often find myself asking God if I’m equipped for it all, but it’s a privilege to get to be with them and sit alongside them as they learn new things. It’s filled with fun and so neat to see them grow in this way as well.
You might have noticed that the blog has been a bit quieter this week. I’m honestly just trying to regain some sort of balance of it all and get us on a routine, too! Between schooling two children, caring for a 2-year-old (who now knows how to open baby gates, what in the world?!) and then trying to keep the house somewhat organized and clean all the while taking care of my oil business as well – well – it’s been tricky this week! Ha! Oh, and let’s throw in a field trip as well!
Hopefully I’ll get back to Project Life Tuesday and a more normal blog schedule soon, friends! Giving myself some grace for sure! ;)
Here’s to a great new school year and let’s pray that I don’t lose my sanity in the process! Ha
