Back in May I was lucky to have found one of the 300 “golden tickets” in a Project Life kit that I purchased from my local Hobby Lobby store. Because I found one of those tickets, I won one of the limited edition Project Life value kits. I was SO excited when I found it! Eeeeek!
The first thing that came to mind when I found the ticket was that I wanted to do some GOOD with it. I wanted to see the blessing stretched way beyond the pages of my Project Life album. If you know me at all (or have followed my blog for even a week, LOL) you know my deep love for Project Life. Sure, I could use a limited edition value kit. Sure it’s SO cute and it’s a limited edition, but I wanted to do MORE with it.
It took me only a few minutes to decide what I wanted to do with the kit once I received it. I wanted to pay it forward and help a friend.
So here is where YOU awesome people come in.
I have started a fundraiser to help my sweet friend, Jen Lake. You might know Jen via her blog or her work on the Project Life Creative Team. You might know her through her Instagram account as well (@sunlightandair). She is a sweetheart and recently underwent a third neurosurgery (her third in 10 months, nonetheless). Because of her surgeries, she is facing some hefty debt from her medical bills and I would love to use this kit that I won to bless her and to help lift some of that burden from her. Jen is such a positive, uplifting and inspiring person. She shares her story by documenting her journey with a chronic illness to help others and remind them that there is still good to be found.

What you can win: I am breaking up this kit into THREE different packs so there are going to be THREE winners. I thought I’d spread the love a bit so that 3 people could enjoy this kit. Two winners will each win one of every card in the kit and then one winner will receive one of each card AND the wooden veneer alphabet! Oh, and ALL three winners will receive an autographed card from Becky Higgins herself! How cool is that?!
How you can win: EVERY $5 donation gets you 1 entry into the drawing. So if you donated $25, you get 5 entries. :)

How long is the fundraiser for: I am going to run this fundraiser until the end of the month so you have from now (August 10) until the end of the day on August 31st to donate to be entered to win one of these 3 prize bundles. The fundraiser page will be set up after that though so if you aren’t able to give this month, but would still like to – you will have that opportunity.
I have set the goal for the fundraiser at $2000, but would of course LOVE to surpass that. Any amount will bless Jen, so please donate what you can and spread the word.
