Hi friends! Happy Tuesday!
I’m back after a couple of weeks off! Between the busyness of life and a bit of travel, I’m finally getting back to working on my Project Life pages and it feels good! I’m also ALMOST done with my Week in the Life pages! Yay! Anyone else working away on that, too? I will share those here on the blog, too, so be on the lookout for that!
Ok, so for today’s Project Life share, I am sharing the birthday pages that I created to document Luke’s 2nd birthday back in the middle of August. :)
I’m using a DESIGN 1 6×8 page protector and then a DESIGN G page protector. :)
Here are the pages I inserted in the middle of my last page shares since his birthday came in the middle of those. ;)
I’m not a fan of including a BUNCH of things in my Project Life album, but I do like to include a little something flat for every kid birthday, whether it’s a napkin from the party or a decoration from the party. For Luke’s little birthday spread – I just took a couple of pieces from a banner from his decorations, glued them together, punched a couple of holes in it and placed it in the album in the beginning of his birthday pages. Easy cheesy.
I am a big obsessed with including larger photos in my album now. I print all of my photos at home (well, mostly) and so I am loving printing photos 6×8 and including them here and there. I decided to pick 2 photos that I loved from the birthday bunch and put them next.
I included a little “shine” sticker from Evalicious on this photo. I placed it on the outside of the page protector.
Here’s the back 6×8 photo. :)
This is the DESIGN G page protector. I love the variety of photos that I could include and I made sure to include some journaling on a 4×6 card from the High Five Edition. :)
The chipboard tab is from my Confetti Edition, the white letter stickers are from Elle’s Studio and of course I used my handy dandy tiny attacher to staple it.
The “2” sticker is an older foam Thicker sticker from American Crafts. I hoarded those things BIG TIME and so I have a bunch still. :)
Here are a couple more shots of the front of the page.
This is the backside of that page protector.
The “It’s your day” sticker is from Evalicious.
And there you go! A couple of super simple birthday pages for Luke. Didn’t take long at all to do (maybe 30 minutes) and I love how it turned out. It was a simple documentation of his special day!
Goodness, I just love Project Life! Hope you are having a great week so far, friends!
