Hi there!
It’s Tuesday! Woo hoo! ;) Sharing some more Project Life pages today! You’ll have to please excuse the photos today. It has been rainy and cloudy for the past couple of days and I was hoping to have better light to take these in, but nope. I wanted to get them photographed and on the blog so I’m just rollin’ with it! ;)
Here we go!
I used DESIGN A page protectors and cards from the High Five and Confetti Editions. You know – the week I did this I was SUPER busy and wanting to just get the photos in there and although there isn’t a lot of journaling OR embellishments, I just love the way these pages turned out. The photos bring back so many memories and just seriously warm my heart. Love it. Just goes to show you that most times – simple IS best and you don’t have to do a ton of embellishing and journaling to get your memories down. Now I do believe that it IS important to get our stories down (I’m working on doing THAT better), but it’s totally ok to give yourself some grace and just slip the photos into your pages with some dates, a smidge of journaling and call it done! I just love how simple Project Life makes documenting life!
This “real life” chipboard is from Ali Edwards.
The epoxy heart is from Freckled Fawn. It’s from one of their older monthly kits.
Of course I had to whip out my Project Life date stamp and Sharpie pen! ;) Oh, and the tiny attacher! Ha!
See? Simple as can be!
Another chipboard sticker from Ali and the “one of those days” stickers below is from an older Freckled Fawn kit again.
Little talk bubble heart is from Freckled Fawn.
I also have a simple layout that I created between these two pages in my album. I just wanted to get this sweet photo scrapped and felt like doing a layout. That has been happening a lot more lately and I love that I can go back and forth between Project Life and traditional scrapbooking and combine the two! I used some super cute goodies from Elle’s Studio on this layout.
And there you have it, friends! I hope you are having a great week!
