Happy Thursday, friends!
I wanted to pop in today to share a super cute company with you called, “Hooray Mail!” Hooray Mail was created by a Mama named, Katie who loved getting snail mail as a child and wanted her two girls to experience the same thing, even though we live in such a digital word today. She was looking for a subscription service to sign up for, but never could find what she was needing and so she did what any awesome Mama would do – she started it herself!
I love this sweet concept so much. I mean, who doesn’t love getting some mail?! I’m telling you – my kids are always so giddy when I tell them they have some mail and they usually are the ones running to the mailbox to check. When Katie emailed me to tell me about her company, I instantly loved the idea and really thought it was a creative and unique way for kids to experience some snail mail (which isn’t THAT common anymore) and a great way for parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles, etc. to interact with the children that they love.
Hooray Mail is a subscription snail mail delivered twice per month for kids ages 2-6. It comes in a brightly colored envelope and inside there’s a personalized card and a simple and fun activity! It’s a great mix of fun and excitement because your child will get something in the mail just for them and THEN they’ll get to be creative at the same time! It’s super simple to sign up (takes no time at all) and there is a good variety of price-points to choose from!
Katie was sweet and gifted Jack and Luke a month’s subscription in April. This is the first “Hooray Mail” that they received. I loved the cute theme of the card and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the card and the super cute design.
Inside the card was a super cute activity and a sweet note that was personalized to them from Michael and I. I loved how the card was interactive and allowed them a spot to be creative. I read them the card and asked them both what their favorite meals were. Jack said his favorite mail was spaghetti and Luke’s favorite was chips and dip! Ha! Then I let Jack (since he’s older and was more excited about this part) to draw his favorite meal on the plate and to do whatever else he’d like.
I absolutely love how he colored his “spaghetti and meatballs” on the card! It was so cute and he had lots of fun!
They both loved getting a piece of mail addressed to them and they loved the excitement of not knowing just what kind of mail it was. I loved the great conversation prompts that are in the cards. This card was a great combination of fun and learning! Anything that teaches my kids something good and lets them be creative too, is awesome in my book!
A Hooray Mail subscription would even be great for grandparents to give their grandchildren, too. I think it would be a sweet way for them to interact with their grandchildren and send them a little mail to not only brighten their day, but allow for them to be creative and do a fun activity! Too bad us adults can’t just get Hooray Mail and not bills! Ha! ;)
I’m so thankful that Katie reached out to me and allowed my boys to experience Hooray Mail. They loved it and I did, too! We even got a subscription for the month of June and so I’m excited to see those and I know Jack and Luke are, too! I’ll be sure to share more about that on my social media when we get them!
Definitely check out Hooray Mail. I love the sweet joy it brought my kids. So simple and fun and I don’t even have to think about it. It’ll just show up in our mailbox and they’ll definitely be shouting “HOORAY!”
Have a great day, friends!
XO!
