Snapchat

Hey friends!

Happy Tuesday to ya! Anyone else have kids that just LOVE the Snapchat filters? My kids and I have this new nightly routine that we do where we go through the Snapchat filters and laugh SO much! I thought I’d create a layout with some of the photos that we’ve saved the past month.

When I saw the happiness that filled the August Freckled Fawn Embellishment Kit, I just knew it would be perfect to get these little photos my kids and I have taken using the Snapchat filters! Ha! this layout cracks me up and these embellishments made the layout come together so easily! I started with a white 8.5×11 piece of cardstock and printed out my photos 2×2. We have taken A LOT of these photos so I just chose some of our favorites. ;) I then adhered them onto the yardstick in a grid pattern – one of my favorite things to do when I have multiple photos on a layout.

I always love to have something at the tippy top of my layout (not sure why! Ha!) and so I used the diamond shape stickers and cut the two patterned ones in half and then just placed them like a little bunting along the top of the layout. I stapled the two on the end with my tiny attacher.

One of the most fun things about this layout is that I got to use the awesome embellishments and just sporadically place them onto my layout. It sure was fun! The elements played right into the playfulness of my photos and my kids and I both got a huge laugh out of it all!

I used the great puffy alphabet stickers for the title and then used one of the epoxy talk bubble stickers right below it. I cut off the little portion of the talk bubble so that it just looked like a rectangular sticker. I, of course, had to add one of the rubber emojis after the title (THESE ARE MY FAVORITE!) and then I placed one of the wooden star embellishments near the title as well. I put a tiny little pink round epoxy dot from a previous Freckled Fawn kit on top of the star to look like a little brad.

Lastly, I used some of the washi tape to write a smidge of journaling at the top and the date at the bottom. :) Super easy!

There you go! Just a simple layout that I whipped up with the Freckled Fawn August embellishment kit. So much fun!
