I see you super tired Mama who is at your wit’s end today. You haven’t showered in 3 days, you REALLY just want a few minutes of quiet and you know that you’re not taking the best care of yourself. You feel like you’ve lost yourself in the chaos that is your laundry, the explosion of Legos and the mess in the kitchen sink. You feel like you should DO more, but you don’t have the energy. You feel like you should BE more, but don’t think you have the time or purpose, honestly. You’re neglecting yourself and your wellness, but you don’t want to be. You have dreams that you want to fulfill, you have gray hair peeking through and bags under your eyes. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. You’d like a nap or heck, even the chance to use the bathroom alone. You see, for a long time, I put MY needs and MY health on the back burner as I made sure everyone else in my family was good to go.
