If you’ve seen any of my recent IG stories, you know that I’ve been on a bit of a scrapbooking roll lately. Not sure what has come over me, but it feels GOOD, y’all and so I’m going with it! ;)
I’m actually just about completely done with my 2017 Project Life album, almost up to date with 2018, been working on finishing up my December Daily AND I just finished my Day in the Life project from 4 days go.
See. I’m totally on fire, friends. Ha!
So back to blogging it all, I go! Not sure if anyone is still reading, but I just love sharing and so I’m going to!
I kept my DITL super simple. I went with a DESIGN F and a DESIGN A page protector (that I cut a bit off of) and simply used the cards in the kit as a prompt for what to document that day. My kids and I had been under the weather for a good bit and I honestly thought about NOT documenting the day, but I’m so glad that I did. Life happens, right? It’s not all sunshine and roses and it ended up being a pretty neat documentation of the day that I would have had otherwise. Just one more reason why I love DITL.
I used the time stickers from the kit on the photographs, used Ali’s date stamp on the cards and took the journaling directly from IG where I posted my photos. It made documenting it all super easy and fast. I also used a few of the other embellishments from the kit. I decided to use my own handwriting for the journaling cards, but am I the only person who wishes their cards turned out like Ali’s? Ha! I don’t mind my handwriting, but when I write on my cards and underline them like she does (which I LOVE), they just don’t look as good! ;) Ah well.
So there you have it. A simple documentation of our day last Thursday. It was full of everyday, ordinary stuff, but I’m super happy to have documented it none the less. I stick my DITL spreads directly into our family Project Life album, in case you were wondering.
It feels good to be back at it, friends. I’d love for you to leave me a link to your DITL if you participated, too. I always enjoy seeing other people’s work!
XO!
