Luke received the kitchen pillow playset last week and has been playing with it so much! And I have to say that I have loved seeing his imagination come to life with just one pillow. It’s awesome! The other awesome thing about it is if you’re like me and are really wanting to minimize the amount of toys in your home, but you still want to purchase products for your kids that will not only last a long time, but facilitate their imagination – then you seriously have to check these pillow playsets out! They are ALL of that (and more!), Mama friends.
The kitchen pillow playset is so cute and comes with a banana, piece of bread, fried egg and frying pan. There’s a pocket that the pillow folds into that is also the “oven” and it’s just all-around adorable. Luke loved how you could add things to the blender, put things in the oven and pop a piece of bread in the toaster. His favorite thing to do was to whip me up a “special smoothie” that consisted of banana & fried egg. He’d giggle every time he’d serve me it. ;)
All too often toys will takeover every space in our home and it not only gets overwhelming for me, but it’s just not conducive to good, creative play because there is just TOO much stuff and then the kids are overwhelmed, too. These pillows are not only super cute decor for your kids’ room (or even your living room), but they fold up easily, are durable, washable and super convenient to take with you when you travel or when your kids go to their Grandparent’s house. Your kids can play hard and then take a nap on an adorable pillow. Now how’s that for awesome? Ha!
I love the design. I’m constantly blown away and impressed by how the Sago Mini team is always thinking outside of the box and coming up with such cute, creative products all the while still holding true to their mission which is to offer kids (and parents) affordable, whimsical, fun, toys that allow kids to use their imagination and learn.

Another cool thing about these pillow playsets is that they help with independent play, which I think is super important for every child. I always try to promote that type of independent play for each of my children and one thing I noticed right away about this pillow playset is that as soon as Luke opened it up and set it out on our couch, he spent an entire 45 minutes right away playing with it BY HIMSELF. That’s honestly huge for him since he’s the youngest in the family and always has someone (either Jack or Caylin) to hang out with, play with, etc. That made me super happy and he has since then pulled it out and started to play with it on his own numerous times.
This pillow playset is cool, innovative and most importantly FUN. Luke loved it so much that I also backed Sago Mini’s kickstarter and he’ll be getting the doctor’s office one in the next few months! He’s so excited!
Anything Sago Mini creates, I support. I’ve been pleased time and time again with not only how much my kids love everything that I’ve purchased and been sent by Sago Mini, but with how durable, versatile and well-made it all is. This pillow playset is no different. I love that it has more than one purpose and can provoke lots of fun and independent play, but also how multiple children can play with it together, too! I know that Sago Mini will continue to be a gamechanger when it come to developing awesome & well-thought-out products for my kiddos. I’m super thankful for that.
