I’m still “oooohing” and “ahhhhhhing” over the April Elle’s Studio release, friends and I know that you will be, too (if you aren’t already). The April release + add-ons are SO good! The colors just make me SO happy and it’s all so perfect for documenting all of the amazing Spring photos + stories that you’re going to have. I created two projects with the kit + add-ons and wanted to share them with y’all.
The first project I created was an 8.5×11 layout of our trip to Chattanooga last month to pick up our sweet puppy Marlie.
If you know me and my scrapbooking, you’re probably NOT surprised that I love a good grid. Ha! I do it A LOT because well, it’s a great way to get multiple photos on a layout and I just love how easy it is honestly. The “love this” wooden veneer is SO cute and it was a favorite of mine this month and I knew I wanted to put it in the middle of the layout and it worked out perfectly. That red puffy heart was a no-brainer! Ha! It’s just such a sweet compilation of photos and memories and I love how simply it all came together.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – Elle’s Studio products really make all documenting SO easy and it’s all super versatile.
The second project I did was a 6×8 spread of Caylin on her “diabetes day,” which is the day we celebrate her and her life because it was on THAT day that she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Now, let me make something clear … we are NOT celebrating Type 1 – we are celebrating that she is still HERE and ALIVE and well, we’re thankful for that. So on March 2nd every year we celebrate her and do whatever she wants (within reason, of course).
I love doing a mixture of traditional layouts, smaller pocket pages and then the standard 12×12 pocket pages. Any and all of Elle’s products work with any of those ways of documenting and let’s just be real – they’re all SO cute!
Here are the amazing add-ons that Elle’s Studio released as well that coordinate SO awesome with the April kit + are so versatile that you can use them ANY month!
Let’s just talk about these for a moment. SO much goodness in this pile above! First of all, I love any and all puffy stickers and the three that Elle released this month are SO good! You need them all. There’s that “love is” wooden embellishment that you NEED and I love those wooden hearts, too. When I’m working on projects, I will pull out Elle’s Studio goodies time and time again – they are versatile, so cute and well – work for so many different projects! I feel like they really are timeless, too – so even if you have some of your kit leftover – you could totally use them in the months ahead. I’m also really enjoying stamping now. If you don’t think of yourself as a stamper, you STILL need to get some Elle’s Studio stamps. I just love how easy they are to use and how there are so many great stamps really targeted for pocket page documentation. You can create your own 3×4 cards with the stamp sets, use them to embellish your traditional layouts and even use them on cards, too. You will totally enjoy stamping when you give these stamps a try!
