It’s Week in the Life weekend time! Here are my Saturday words + photos!
SATURDAY 7:12 am | Taking a dog out in the pouring rain is no fun. Decided to focus on gratitude and was thankful that I had an umbrella and that she didn’t ‘t take TOO long. It’s going to be a messy, wet day.
SATURDAY 9:30 am | I’m sitting on the counter watching Michael and Caylin chat while they eat breakfast. I can remember when Caylin was little and I’d watch them do the same. I love to see them interact. So thankful for the love and guidance Michael provides for her. She’s becoming more and more of a Daddy’s girl and I love watching their bond grow.
SATURDAY 11:22 am | Doing laundry and found this Ninja Turtle sword in my laundry basket. This sword has been around since Jack was super litte and it’s seen better days, but they both still love it and play with it and I usually find it in all sorts of interesting places around the house.
SATURDAY 12:11 pm | Marlie’s preferred way to nap.
SATURDAY 12:53 pm | Took a trip to Pal’s to get some Frenchie fries for lunch. YUM!
SATURDAY 12:57 pm | Luke decides to have the rest of the Key Lime pie that I bought yesterday from @buttermilkskypiejohnsoncity. He’s a big fan and so am I!
SATURDAY 3:48 pm | Luke is walking around the downstairs checking things out with his binoculars. Marlie kept trying to jump up and get the string and it freaked him out so he whipped it off and put it on the kitchen counter. After that he said, “That was a close call” and giggled.
SATURDAY 6:11 pm | Really digging these coconut ice cream sandwiches right now.
SATURDAY 6:58 pm | After dinner I can usually find all of the kids in the homeschool room creating some art and a mess, of course. Caylin will sometimes play her iPad or look up drawing tutorials and the boys use up all of the paper and have markers everywhere
SATURDAY 8:35 pm | Took Marlie for a walk and it looked like some storms are rolling in. Looked a bit eerie, but it was so peaceful at the same time. Oh, and I was so glad that Marlie did NOT bite my ankles this time.
SATURDAY 8:50 pm | Spontaneous dance party time except Luke won’t dance when I’m watching, so this is what he does. Just stares at me until I stop looking! LOL!
