Here are my Tuesday Week in the Life photos + words, friends.
Man oh man do I love this project so much.
TUESDAY 6:42 am | Got my early morning puppy alarm. Out we go – the first time today of about 30 trips, I bet. Raising a puppy is work!
TUESDAY 7:19 am | First one up – Luke. We’re sitting on the couch together giggling about how Marlie jumped up and pushed him into the blinds. Marlie is as tall as he is now and will jump up and put her paws on his shoulders. Nowadays Luke is the most laid back one with the coolest sock fashion.
TUESDAY 7:57 am | Lukie helped me whip up some breakfast bread muffins this morning. He loves to put in the honey and also lick it off his fingers a lot (gotta love all the crumbs on the counter).
TUESDAY 8:41 am | Luke has come a long way with Marlie. He used to be terrified of her – because of her size and because she liked to nip at his toes + ankles early on. Now he’s so brave and loves her so much. She jumped up on the couch with him and he put his arm around her and that’s when I melted. So sweet. He was playing some Minecraft after breakfast and she was nibbling on the blanket tag, of course. I hope they grow up to be the best of buds.
TUESDAY 9:34 am | Jack was the last to wake up and so he’s the last one to finish eating the almond butter muffins I made. Luke is keeping him company playing on his iPad and Marlie is asleep under the table.
TUESDAY 11:35 am | Grocery shopping. On the list: grapefruit Waterloo, dog toy and something sweet. I settled on organic gummy bears.
TUESDAY 11:53 am | Went and got some Moe’s Barbecue for lunch after grocery shopping. We’ve never tried it so here’s hoping it good. UPDATE: It’s ok. Super expensive and well, not getting it again.
TUESDAY 1:24 pm | Someone loves her new puppy toy.
TUESDAY 1:47pm | Sitting down at my desk to get some work done. Printing out worksheets, positing in my oil groups and finishing an outline for a fun event next week for my team. Lots of Voxers, Marco Polos and texts in between. Time to get to it.
TUESDAY 2:50 pm | Caylin’s artwork is just getting more and more amazing. I love how creative and artistic she is. Sometimes she gets discouraged, but she always comes back to it and keeps working on it. Proud of her.
TUESDAY 4:32 pm | Another beautiful day here and so we spent some time on the back patio putting together the sweet Farm Box from @toolboxesforteaching. It was so much fun and turned out super cute! Jack did get distracted by a roly poly that he found and wanted to keep as a pet, Luke was trying to keep rocks for his “rock collection” and Caylin was freaking out because there was a spider that visited us and almost crawled on her. Sweet memories were made and we can’t wait to see the herbs we planted grow and fill our little farm.
TUESDAY 5:18 pm | Another gorgeous day outside so while I was making dinner, the kids decided to go and play outside a bit. I stepped out there to snap a photo of them acting silly! Gotta love their poses and Jack’s facial expression. LOL!
TUESDAY 5:53 pm | Dinner is all done and after every meal Luke asks us to help wash his hands at the kitchen sink. Today I told him I would if he took a photo with me and he smiled big and said, “Sure!!” That’s his personality and I love it! Going to miss it when he doesn’t need my help anymore.
TUESDAY 7:02 pm | Out with Marlie … again.
TUESDAY 7:25 pm | My sweet girl. She ‘s doing so great lately. Thankful for that and for her always waiting for me like a good girl when I leave the kitchen for a bit. She knows I always come back and give her a little treat.
TUESDAY 8:04 pm | Put the boys in the tub for a bath and of course they had to bring in their entire toybox. Oh, and they also requested two “play” washcloths + a Lavender bath bomb.
TUESDAY 8:39 pm | I just love how big the sky is here. One of my favorite things to do is watch the sunset and stare up into the sky. I feel so small and it’s always such a great reminder of how BIG our God is and how magnificent His creations are. And get this: He shares them with us! Looking at the sky never gets old. Feeling so thankful tonight.
