Hey hey, friends! Ok, so it feels like forever since I’ve posted something just randomly like this, but I wanted to share it with y’all because I just love it and was inspired to do this after watching the awesome December Daily Prep Online Party videos that Ali did this past Saturday. More than once she said, USE YOUR STUFF, and let’s face it – I’ve got a lot of scrapbook “stuff.” So as I was sitting there at my desk, I looked over to my bookshelf and saw the “Story Planner” that I had purchased a couple of years ago that I’ve honestly only used a handful of times. It was then that I was inspired to pull it out and USE IT and I’m feeling pretty excited about it.
You see, a few months back I signed up for the JUST WRITE subscription that Ali has to get more stories told. I love the prompts, but wasn’t really sure where I was going to house them all – whether it was in my family album or a completely separate album. Well, guess what? I turned my Story Planner into my new Just Write mini album. Ha! How’s that for using what I have?! Yeeeeeessssss!
So here I am sharing it with y’all because if YOU have the Story Planner and you’ve yet to really utilize it you need to 1) actually start USING it or 2) utilize it in another way and maybe this is a good way for you, too!
I plan on putting all of the story pages from the Just Write prompts in here and I’m so looking forward to filling it up. I’m not sure if I’ll keep the divider tabs in it (right now it’s still divided up for all of my family), but I just may. Might be cool to see stories about each of us or look at word prompts from different people’s perspectives. Still contemplating that … I’ll keep you posted.
But as for now, I’ve got a place for these stories and now it’s time to get to work getting these stories told.
If you’d like to learn more about Just Write, check out Ali’s website HERE. It’s awesome, friend. Your stories matter. Document them and USE YOUR STUFF.
XO!
