Week in the Life™ 2020 | Wednesday Words + Photos

It’s Wednesday! Wow, this week is honestly flying by! Here are Wednesday’s words + photos, friends! Enjoy!

WEDNESDAY 9:34am | This morning was a wet, cold morning. Once again, super thankful for these really ugly shoes while I’m out walking Marlie. Took a trip around the front of the house to see the flowerbed. I love these beautiful red bushes that we have. Ready for the warmer weather. 

WEDNESDAY 9:45am | Breakfast. All of the kids woke up around the same time today. I made them smoothies and they had a little fruit bar along with it. I just love them

WEDNESDAY 10:02am | I might have been staring at all of these beautiful bottles for a little bit. This shelf and these bottles make me happy.

WEDNESDAY 10:07am | My co-worker (really my boss) hanging out in one of her favorite hangout places – under my desk.

WEDNESDAY 11:25am | There’s always a nerf gun pointed at me nowadays. Luke just loves nerf guns. His first tooth fell out last week and he got $20 to spend. It all went on nerf guns. This is one of his new ones.

WEDNESDAY 12:07pm | Puppy hugs are the best. They actually hugged like this for about 2 minutes. It was the sweetest.

WEDNESDAY 12:29pm | Took a trip to Hobby Lobby. Haven’t been to a store in about 3 months and I was honestly dreading it. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Thankfully it wasn’t as doom and gloom as I thought it might be. Some people were wearing masks, most weren’t – which I was surprised about (I wasn’t wearing one) and overall the experience was fine. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but of course left with other things. Thankful to get out a bit, but missing the way things used to be.

WEDNESDAY 12:59pm | Love this sign I bought at Hobby Lobby. Also got a rainbow eraser for Caylin, some cardstock and some vellum for me and a little rainbow pouch that I didn’t need, but made me happy.

WEDNESDAY 2:02pm | Love this little note Luke left me while he was watercoloring.

WEDNESDAY 3:11pm | The boys took a video break in between their Math and Language Arts. They got all cozy in the media room and watched some DanTDM on YouTube.

WEDNESDAY 4:04pm | Michael fixed sweet Coji the robot for Luke today. He had batteries corrode in him and so he doesn’t work anymore, but sweet Luke didn’t care. So Michael cleaned him out and up and put him back together again. Then I put a little emoji sticker from my scrapbooking stash on the front and he was good to go. Luke was so excited.

WEDNESDAY 4:25pm | Happy mail day!

WEDNESDAY: 4:42pm | Caylin was hanging out with me in the office and sitting by the window I had opened. Marlie is a bit overprotective about the window because she loves it open and doesn’t want anyone to close it, so she sat right next to her to guard the window and make sure she just enjoyed the breeze and didn’t close it. We both thought it was so funny!

WEDNESDAY 8:13pm | At my desk working away on some business stuff. Listening to a podcast that my friend is on and knocking things off of my to-do list. Ready to call it a night. Waiting on Michael to tell me he’s ready for our nightly Bible study on Revelation.

WEDNESDAY 9:05pm | Jack and Luke are playing in their room while I get the diffusers filled for nighttime and brush my teeth and wash my face. They’ve been playing so well together lately and it usually includes their cool Army guys, lots of noise and them having lots of fun. Oh, and Colonel Crackers is always in Luke’s hand nowadays, too.

WEDNESDAY 11:18pm | This game of Exploding Kittens went on for a long time last night. It came down to Michael and Caylin. Caylin had SO many cards (even the Streaking Kitten!), but Michael had the Curse of the Cat Butt card and put Caylin in it and then she had to draw the Exploding Kitten! It was TOO funny! We were all rolling! Caylin was not happy about it, but was laughing, too!
