Hey friends!
It’s been a long day – we went out of town for the first half of the day and so I’ve been playing catch up the rest of the day and just now able to get these Tuesday photo + words posted. I hope if you’ve been documenting this week that it’s going well! I’ve been keeping it all super simple and laid back and it’s working for me! Ha! Here’s all about Tuesday and I’ll be sure to post today’s photos in the morning!
8:11am | My morning smoothie game is strong. ?? Also, Luke still has to push the button to turn off the blender EVERY time.
9:39am | It never fails. I sit down in my office to get some work done and one of the kids shows up and comes on in. This morning the first one to come in was Luke. What was he coming in for? To give me a hug. I guess I’ll let him. Seriously contemplating putting a lock on my door though.
11:52am | Making grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch (with raw goat’s milk cheese) and I know Jack & Luke are not going to like it, but gonna make them eat it anyway. What we ALL like, actually LOVE, are these @sietefoods chips. SO good, friends! I could eat an entire bag in one sitting if I wanted to. Having some Siete chips with salsa and some cashew milk and coconut milk ice cream for desert!
12:40pm | Caylin currently: loves all things horses (especially riding them), Rainbow-looming, YouTube, her horse Cotton Candy, kombucha and cashews. Currently doesn’t like: Math.
2:30pm | Jack is drawing monsters while he’s waiting for me to start his lesson. He’s a doodler just like I was. Love seeing his little drawings.
3:49pm | Laundry and yes, I’m still in PJs.
4:45pm | Brownies. Just because.
5:47pm | Caylin’s latest bracelet creation.
8:22pm | The kids are having another dance party in Caylin’s room tonight – it’s been their thing that they do a for few nights now. We put a radio and iPad in Caylin’s room so she can listen to music while she is in her room (how is she almost a teenager?!) and they rock out. It’s the cutest, loudest and sometimes strangest thing to watch! Oh, and Luke isn’t having any of it now.
